It’s Your Choice!

Yesterday was the first day of 2018 and now we have an entire new, uncluttered, full-of-possibilities year stretching out in front of us. What are you going to do with it?

This is the time of year when a lot of us start making lists of goals we want to reach. There’s nothing wrong with that – except that when we don’t achieve them we end up feeling guilty and disappointed.

So I’m trying a different approach this year. I’ve been thinking a lot about choices we make and how they affect us. Deciding on a goal is great but if we don’t make the right choices – on a consistent basis – we won’t get there. A huge part of creating positive change in our lives is choosing to do the right thing – over and over again. Those baby steps really do lead us in the right direction.

This year I’m going to be talking about choices in my blog because I think it’s a timely topic. One big choice I’m making this year is to be healthier and I’ve already made a good start. I’ve lost almost 15 pounds since the end of October. What about you? What choices do you need to start or stop making to improve your life? It’s all up to you!
